Name: Apollo 451
Description: Created for the 2009 game, Apollo 451 harvests, stores, and shoots balls.
Drive: 4-wheel 2 sided tank
Functions: Harvests and loads balls into the flywheel with plastic sticks in a PVC pipe. From the harvester, balls fall into the “bin” below the flywheel. They are then fed upwards to the flywheel, a spinning tire about 2 inches wide and a foot radius, where they are shot upwards, through a turret, that used to turn, out.
Controlled by: 3 Joysticks (2 drive, one controls)
Controller: 2009 NI cRIO FRC Edition. Remotely controlled by 2009 KwikByte DriverStation over WiFi (802.11n to Gaming adapter) or Ethernet
Features: Tracks other robots in Auto, used to track other robots in Operator Control with turret, dampened drive, tank drive, and cRIO board easy to swap out to the mule
Status: Ready for Action
